Meet Rachel

"That would make a great photo" is a common phrase in my vocabulary.  Always thinking about preserving moments in time, photography has become a passion of mine.  In 2005 I had the opportunity to live in Transylvania, Romania and teach English in a small town.  I documented my experience with my camera and used the photos to tell the town's story.  As a dwindling culture Transylvanians need a voice larger than their own and I believe photographs can be that powerful voice.  Whether it is a beautiful landscape in Romania or candid photos of my family, I love taking pictures of it all and capturing those unique moments as stories to share with the world.
